Spent the morning up north with my good friends from college. They had a new baby a few weeks ago and I was honored to have been able to take his first pictures. Check out a few of the best pics of the day.

Sharon and Jon

My little sister Sharon is engaged! She and her fiance, Jon, came to visit last week and I snapped a few shots of them and a close-up of "the ring".

This was my second maternity shoot with a bunch of family shots thrown in. In all I shot over 300 pictures with this family of 5 (soon to be 6) and it was a blast.

New Lens!!!

Bought my first Canon L-series lens and it's a beast! But, it's beautiful and I am in LOVE! I ordered the 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM lens. Shot about 200 pictures today and I am amazed at the clarity and bokeh. This lens is so well built I will have it forever. The zoom is perfect for pretty much every shot I'll need so I'll get my money's worth in no time. Here's a shot of Kyle I took today. Notice the bokeh (blurry background).

This was my first official maternity shoot. It was fun and my models were perfect!!! Maternity pictures make a wonderful keepsake for both parents and baby.

Holiday Lights

I have done these pictures with my kids for the last few years and always get many compliments. These shots make great Christmas cards and gifts too!

And then there was Brian

Brian is two and will keep you on your toes!! He moves fast so thank God I have a lens that is too!

Joey

Joey, Joey, Joey. Joey is the photogenic one. He is always willing to pose for mom and he's getting quite good at it! Don't let the many serious shots of him fool you, he is one funny guy!
